So I got a gift card for Christmas from my wonderful girlfriend Melissa to go skydiving. She overheard her brother and I one night just randomly chatting about doing it and so she thought she would get me a gift card. I asked my close friends to join me and they all said, “Nope.” Then my sister, Dani, heard me talking about it and she said, “I’ll go!” This past weekend, we went! It was an incredible experience! I think I’m still on an adrenaline high! If you have ever thought about doing it, DO IT! And make sure you get the video package so you can remember it because it goes so fast you won’t! A huge thank you to SKYDIVE CHICAGO and my instructor TIM! My first jump was amazing!

I tried not to get worked up or excited about the jump but lots of things run through your head leading up to it. I watched this inspirational video from Will Smith over and over and over again!
